Dylan, born 2006

Dylan was born September 21, 2006. He is our miracle baby.

 

My husband and I had been trying to conceive for almost six years, with two miscarriages, 2 IUI's and finally one in vitro attempt which resulted in Dylan. My pregnancy was without any problems and I was induced three days after my due date.

 

After a c-section, we learned that Dylan was born with Transposition of the Great Arteries and a VSD. He was flown to Mott Children's Hospital and had his arterial switch seven days later. He spent one month in the hospital due to development of seizures after surgery but has been doing excellent ever since.
