Evan, born 2007

Evan was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. His heart defect went unnoticed through out the entire pregnancy. When he was born, he was lacking so much oxygen that his little body was blue. He was sent to Saginaw, Michigan where they immediately diagnosed him with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and rushed him to the University of Michigan Mott Children's Hospital where he under went three open heart surgeries before the age of two. Today, Evan is in school, running, playing and being a normal boy. Our lives were forever blessed and changed the day Evan was born. He is a special little man and he has a special little heart.
